I first got hooked on programming when a friend introduced me to pseudocode at a library during my IGCSE Computer Science course. I loved the process of building logic through programming. Using different kinds of loops and conditional statements allowed me to create anything I could imagine. It was fascinating to realize that all the software surrounding me was built on these logical principles. I remember thinking how simple it all seemed, yet the possibilities were endless. This revelation ignited my passion for programming and motivated me to explore the field further.

What now excites me the most is seeing the results of my work—especially when I get to share it with others and receive feedback. I also take great pride in knowing that my work has positively impacted the people and organizations I've worked with recently. That's what truly drives me.

Career Goals

I have a strong passion for web development, where I have gained experience with both front-end and back-end technologies. On the front end, I have worked extensively with React and Next.js, creating dynamic and user-friendly applications. For the back end, I am familiar with Node.js, Django, and Spring, which enable me to build efficient and scalable solutions. I also have experience with Serverless architecture and implementing RESTful APIs, alongside working with the MVC (Model-View-Controller) design pattern to create structured and maintainable applications.

Additionally, I completed an internship last summer, focusing on full-stack development, which further honed my skills and provided practical experience in delivering end-to-end web solutions.

While I am currently focused on web development, I have a growing interest in AI and machine learning. As I continue my studies in engineering, particularly in upcoming semesters that will emphasize AI and machine learning, I may explore new directions in these fields. I am always eager to take on new challenges where I can apply my skills to make a meaningful impact.

I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to gaming! I love playing on my PS4 and PS5, especially the thrill of collecting platinum trophies. These trophies are awarded for completing a game in a specific way and accomplishing various tasks, motivating me to fully immerse myself in each gaming experience. Checking trophy guides before starting a new game has become a ritual, ensuring I achieve these milestones and savor every aspect of the game.

My passion for sketching has been a constant in my life, even before I began coding. I find immense joy in putting pencil to paper and bringing my ideas to life through art. Over the years, I've built a collection of sketches that reflect my creativity and personal growth. Sketching allows me to express myself visually and serves as a wonderful outlet for my imagination.
