I first got hooked on programming when a friend introduced me to pseudocode at a library during my IGCSE Computer Science course. I loved the process of building logic through programming. Using different kinds of loops and conditional statements allowed me to create anything I could imagine. It was fascinating to realize that all the software surrounding me was built on these logical principles. I remember thinking how simple it all seemed, yet the possibilities were endless. This revelation ignited my passion for programming and motivated me to explore the field further.

What now excites me the most is seeing the results of my work, especially when I get to share it with others and receive feedback. I also take great pride in knowing that my work has positively impacted the people and organizations I've worked with recently. That's what truly drives me.

Career Goals

I have a strong passion for full-stack web development across both the front end and the back end. On the front end I work extensively with React and Next.js, and I'm exploring micro-frontend architecture. On the back end I use Node.js, Django, and Spring to build efficient, scalable services. I'm comfortable with serverless and REST API design, and I design with architectural patterns like microservices and event-driven design, keeping systems structured and maintainable as they grow.

Across internships and freelance work spanning government, startup, and international teams, I've delivered end-to-end web solutions, from requirements and architecture through to deployment and production support.

I'm increasingly drawn to system architecture and large-scale system design, especially cloud engineering and how systems stay reliable and observable under real traffic. It's the area I'm putting the most deliberate learning into right now.

Alongside web development I work with AI and machine learning, building LLM workflows, RAG concepts, and computer-vision systems, and folding them into real products. I am always eager to take on new challenges where I can apply my skills to make a meaningful impact.

I'm a bit of a completionist when it comes to gaming! I love playing on my PS4 and PS5, especially the thrill of collecting platinum trophies. These trophies are awarded for completing a game in a specific way and accomplishing various tasks, motivating me to fully immerse myself in each gaming experience. Checking trophy guides before starting a new game has become a ritual, ensuring I achieve these milestones and savor every aspect of the game.

My passion for sketching has been a constant in my life, even before I began coding. I find immense joy in putting pencil to paper and bringing my ideas to life through art. Over the years, I've built a collection of sketches that reflect my creativity and personal growth. Sketching allows me to express myself visually and serves as a wonderful outlet for my imagination. Whether I'm exploring new techniques or capturing inspiration from my surroundings, I love immersing myself in the world of art.
